Tonight was opening night for my school's show. Every time I go to see a show at my school, it makes me regret not trying out. But then I remember how shallow our drama club is. Any guy that auditions gets in because of how much the club lacks in male actors. As for the girls, well.. They pick the same people every year. Very rarely do they cast people who are brand new. Bending over backwards doesn't exactly cut it.
So, despite how shallow the club is, the shows always end up amazing. The acting, the singing and the dancing of course. I had one or two friends starring in the show, and really only showed up to show my support, as I always do every year. I'm not sure if it makes any difference to them whether I decide to show or not. But I still enjoy their performances.
